Skin consists of three main layers: epidermis, dermis and subdermal tissue. Young and healthy skin has large amounts of collagen and elasticity in dermis. Collagen gives a structure to the skin and elastin gives elasticity. By getting older, amount of collagen and elastin is decreasing, and skin becomes thiner and fragile, especially on the places of the face with constant movements (eyes, lip area, neck). Wrinkles become more apparent. Our skin consists large amount of water which helps to obtain elasticity. Although ageing is unavoidable, you can still keep youthfull appearance by undertaking some meassures: decrease exposure to sun, stop smoking, adequate water intake, decrease exposure to low temperatures, daily skincare, beauty treatments and regular face exercise, either by electrostimulation or individual active training of face muscles. It is never too late, to start taking care about your skin. The most effective methods are application of active cosmetic products by ionophoresis to deep skin layers rich with blood and lymphatic vessels (Dermoactive Genion Treatment).
Cellulite appears only in women and is related to genetic predisposition and to hormonal disbalance (adolescense, perimenstrual syndrom, pregnancy, postmenopause). Cellulite is not just the ordinary fat tissue, it is mostly problem of insufficient circulation and retantion of excessive water. There is a number of women in sports being in great physical condition but still having this problem. The cellulite is built up by fat cells which are mixed and trapped inside the tissue fibres. Circulation is insufficient in this area. It is the reason why all modern treatments are focused on stimulation of the circulation, to increase the drainage of all toxins and trapped excessive water from cellulite area.
There is a classification of cellulite which grades from soft and diffusive to hard and well localized one. Depending in which grade you belong to, our team will make the most efficient treatment for you.
The most effective treatments are the massage, electrostimulation, ionophoresis, therapeutic ultrasound and local application of active substances which increase the circulation in cellulite area.

MUSCLES, SPINE AND JOINTS

Muscles and ligaments are ensuring our correct spine posture and stability of the joints. Bad working habits and sedentary life affect all our muscles and joints. Atrophy of one muscle group induces spasm and hypertrophy of another group, with the consequence changes in the position and stablity of the joints (speciallly cervical and lumbal spine, hips and knees). These processes deteriorate if the person does not start kinesitherapy and exercising under physioterapist guidance.
It is a disorder of psycho-physical balance due to longterm and large psychological and physical efforts. Stress induces the changes in our neuro-hormonal status with the consequences on metabolism of lipids and sugar, on the heart, vessels and blood pressure, as well as increased muscle tonus and stiffness, redistribution of fat tissue, concentration disorder and the feeling of continuous exhaustion. Stress has accumulative effects and finally some of the body systems break down, usually as manifestation of the disease. Modern cardiology has shown that all types of physical activities decrease the consequences of stress (decrease lipids and sugar in blood, as well arterial blood pressure). Symptoms of muscle stiffness, changes in spine posture and joint instability can be restored by the breath exercise, relaxation techniques, regular exercise, either as body training or aerobic exercise and massage.
